About Takshak

We create moments worth showing up for.

Takshak exists to give artists a platform and build live experiences Nepal wants to show up for.

A Word From Our Founder

I wanted to create something of our own.

Takshak started with a very simple idea: create something that could give artists a platform, give audiences experiences they would remember, and slowly build a place for Nepali entertainment to grow.

When we began, I did not have a big team, a big office or a big plan written down somewhere. We learned by doing. We worked with artists, produced shows, managed comedians and musicians, and worked alongside brands, venues, local partners and promoters.

We made mistakes, figured things out, started again and kept going. Somewhere along the way, Takshak became much more than I first imagined.

Nepal already knows how to come together.

Whenever something makes us happy, proud or moves us deeply, Nepalis show up. We celebrate together. We stand together. We share the same emotion.

“I want a Nepali artist to announce a show and people to say: I’m going.”

Not because it is free. Not because someone handed them a ticket. Because they want to be there — because being there matters.

In many parts of the world, people cross cities and countries for an artist they love. I want to see that culture grow here, around Nepali artists and the stories we share.

From shows to a movement

Every project has taught us something.

Some nights were packed. Some rooms were difficult to fill. We have had remarkable collaborations, impossible deadlines, last-minute problems, long nights and moments when we wondered how we would pull it off.

Every one of them moved us forward.

01

Learning by doing

We learned the work in real rooms: with artists, audiences, venues, brands and local partners. The wins gave us confidence. The difficult shows made us sharper.

02

What became clear

Nepal has the artists. Nepal has the audience. Nepal has the stories. Nepal has the energy.

What we need are more opportunities to bring all of it together.

03

Where Takshak fits

We want to create experiences that make people leave home, cross cities, bring friends, meet new people and become part of something larger — from intimate rooms and comedy shows to music tours and large-scale concerts.

What I ultimately want to build

A company that changes how Nepal experiences entertainment.

I want Nepali artists to stand on stages built to international standards, in front of audiences that show them how much their work means.

I want international artists to look at Nepal and know there is an audience waiting for them. I want the world to see those moments and say, “This happened in Nepal.” Not because we need to be bigger than someone else, but because we know Nepal is capable of more.

5,000

people for a Nepali artist

10,000

20,000

The work so far

Built live. Remembered later.

Real moments from Takshak productions across Nepal — each one another lesson in what people will travel, gather and stay for.

What can we create that Nepal will want to show up for?

There are bigger tours to build, more cities to reach and more artists to work with. The goal has never simply been to organise the biggest event. It is to bring Nepal together — one artist, one stage, one city and one experience at a time.

And we’re just getting started.
